Do you throw medication patches such as hormone or morphine patches in the bin at home? Drug residues may still be left on the patch, which can be dangerous for small children and pets. If they lick it, there could be serious consequences.
You can safely return medication plasters to the pharmacy. After use, fold the plaster in half, with the sticky side inwards, and keep it in the box. Bring the box with the used plasters to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
Dear patient,
In the invitation letter for the flu vaccination, an error was accidentally made. It says it is for the pneumococcal vaccination, but that is not correct.
The invitation is for the flu shot. You can just come on the date and time mentioned in the letter.
We apologise for the confusion and thank you for your understanding.
We would like to ask you not to call the practice.
Sincerely,
Keizer Karelpark general practice
