No, unfortunately we cannot accept new patients at the moment.
If you are transferring to another GP, please contact us. We need your permission to transfer information to your new GP.
Unfortunately, our GPs are not trained to give advice regarding traveller vaccinations. For traveller vaccinations and advice about them, you can contact the Amstelland hospital and the GGD.
In general, a medicine declaration is required if your medicines fall under the Dutch Opium Act. Which declaration you need then depends on the country you are travelling to and how long your trip will last.
Fill the Taking medicines on travel help in and you will receive tailor-made advice. This will take a few minutes at most.
The GPs in our practice are not trained for driving licence tests. In addition, according to the KNMG, the professional organisation for doctors, it is not allowed to have the treating doctor perform the driving licence test, see text below from the KNMG website. You can visit for driving licence examinations at: https://rijbewijskeuringsarts.nl/.
Can't make it to your appointment? Please let us know at least 4 hours in advance via the assistant. We will cancel your appointment and you can often make a new one straight away. No charge will then be made.
Do you have an appointment with a practice nurse and cannot come? Then we ask you to cancel it at least 24 hours in advance.
If you do not show up for the appointment without cancellation, we charge €25.00 for a single consultation and €50.00 for a double consultation. For appointments with the practice helpers (somatic/GGZ) we charge € 50.00. After all, with them long consultations or conversations are reserved for you.
A consultation lasts 15 minutes and is suitable for discussing 1 complaint. If you wish to discuss multiple complaints, please indicate this to the assistant.
In doing so, your doctor acted under the rules set out by the KNMG, the professional body for doctors.
Same-day visits can be requested between 08:00 and 10:30 from the assistant. She will then ask for the reason for the visit. A home visit will only be made if medically necessary. Our practice offers better options for examination and treatment.
Please note that if you live in a postcode other than 1181, 1182, 1183, 1185, 1186, 1187 or 1188, the GP will NOT be able to make a visit to you!
Huisartsenpraktijk Keizer Karelpark is a training practice. This means that there is a graduated general practitioner in training to become a family doctor. This trainee GP performs consultations independently, under the supervision of an experienced GP from our practice.
We may ask you for permission that the conversation (consultation) you have with the trainee GP may be recorded on video. Recordings from the consultation room are highly instructive and are used for educational purposes only. The doctor films the conversations for his or her GP training and shows them to his or her supervisors (the GP at the practice and lecturers at the university). During the recordings, your privacy is fully guaranteed in all cases.
You decide whether you want to participate and have the consultation recorded. If you do not give your consent, no video recordings will be made either. You can also withdraw your consent to the recording at any time during the consultation. The video recording is then stopped and the recording made is destroyed.

From Thursday, October 31, 2024, to Monday, November 4, 2024, the practice will be closed due to holidays. If you have complaints that cannot wait until Tuesday 5 November, please contact the following GPs:
Our practice support staff continue to work during the holidays. So appointments made with Maryam Badissi, Eugenie Verlaan, Ingrid Wijffels and Greta Boetekees will continue as usual.
